Cobra-amp-driver

Cobra AMP Driver
COBRA is excited to announce the new Cobra AMP Driver featuring E9 Face Technology with dual roll and AMPTM Speed Tuning, delivering customized distance and accuracy to golfers around the world. The AMP Driver also brings color and attitude to the golf course with black PVD and vibrant orange details on the shaft, club head and grip.
The AMP Driver also features Adjustable Flight Technology (AFT), providing golfers with the option to set the face angle as Open, Neutral or Closed to optimize ball flight for better distance and accuracy. The Aldila RIP® Speed Tuned shafts have a progressive weight design and El flex profiles that customize performance for various swing speeds. AMP Speed Tuning works in conjunction with the shaft to optimize each loft differently to deliver the best performance for a given club head speed. The premium Lamkin® R.E.L. 3Gen® Grip is vibrant orange to match the cub head design, packing the AMP Driver with style, flair and technology to help improve a golfer’s game.
The AMP Driver is also available in an offset design to reduce the effects of a slice as well as provide improved distance and accuracy. The AMP Offset Driver squares the head more quickly through impact to reduce the effects of a slice. The unique crown alignment feature also helps golfers aim the driver on target.
E9 Face Technology with dual roll
COBRA’s E9 Face Technology with dual roll utilizes an elliptical shape face that gives the AMP Driver a 30% larger Sweet Zone, resulting in more distance, accuracy and forgiveness in shots hit from the low heel to high toe. COBRA tested golfers hitting more than 25,000 shots and discovered that the majority of golfers hit shots across the face in this canted, elliptical pattern. We redesigned our clubface to use this phenomenon to the golfers’ advantage. We’ve added a new canted bulge with dual roll to now provide added distance and accuracy to the shots hit above and below the centerline.

Will It Be RBZ?

Majority of the golfers in the world right now have this state of mind that when they are able to hit their balls farther, they can easily play better and have better scores.  This is what most people believe in because the companies who make the golf clubs are advertising their products to be better in terms of distance and control almost every year.  One company that has released a new line of clubs every single year while claiming the improvement benefits of their golf clubs is TaylorMade Golf.  TaylorMade is the pioneer when it comes to the adjustable flight technology in golf with their R7 drivers and ever since, golf clubs have never been the same.

On 2012, TaylorMade is rumored to be releasing a new driver that will again make balls go farther than ever with their TaylorMade RBZ Driver.  The RBZ stands for RocketBallz which is the possible new name for their new line of drivers and irons and maybe even golf balls too for 2012.  TaylorMade has always been an innovator with their golf clubs and they are aiming to have a complete line of clubs just for the sake of adding distance.  This could be what the RocketBallz line is for and this will be trouble for the other brands who's main weapon in attracting customers is distance.  A lot of people will surely be testing this product out once it will be released because something that is made by TaylorMade needs to be tested because of the quality that goes with the name of the product.

The RBZ set of TaylorMade is said to be made for the mid to high-handicap golfers who want more distance and forgiveness so that they can hit it farther and still keep their ball in play.  The golfers within this range are unable to hit it far enough to carry that certain ravine which will force them to lay up.  Hopefully with the RBZ, the significant increase in distance will allow these golfers to hit their ball past the trouble and hazards that they used to avoid.  There are two rumored driver designs for the TaylorMade RBZ driver and one of them has a deep face while the other driver has an elongated shape.  It is not clear yet as to how these shapes are designed to affect the club performance but one thing that is for sure is that both clubs will be easy to hit.  The clubs were designed with the designers thinking about all those players who are having a hard time finding the sweet spot in their drivers and this club will most likely fix the problem.

Irons are not really designed for distance but the new irons will give its owner both distance and control.  Control is the most important thing with irons because you have to keep it straight and the irons from this product is aimed to make every ball you hit go straight and for.  This will allow you to reach those long par 3's that you never got the chance to putt for birdie.

It's only a rumour but what do you think?

Gain The Advantage With Your Equipment

Screen_shot_2011-10-09_at_22

I have been playing golf for almost four years now and I can honestly say that golf is one of the few sports where equipment will play a big role in your success. Whether you are beginner or a professional, you will almost always benefit from better equipment. Though having good equipment like Ecco golf shoes, Nike clubs, and  Adidas gloves is only one part of the game, it is still definitely very important. If you are serious about improving your golf game, you should definitely think about upgrading your equipment as well.

Finding the best shoes.

Having the correct golf shoes will do wonders for your five hour rounds. You are literally on your feet for the whole round so it is common sense to get the best shoes possible. Ecco golf shoes have been one of the most trusted brands in recent years and I am surprised that more people do not use the brand. I often always see people going with the trend of Nike and Adidas, and people often forget that Ecco golf shoes are just as good, if not better.

Finding the best golf clubs

Arguably one of the most important pieces of equipment will be you golf clubs. These are your weapons during battle, and you must know how each golf club will perform when you use them. Their are plenty of brands out there and it will be your job to figure out which one will fit your style of play. You can always seek a professional to help you find the perfect specs for you and your game. With just a little motivation and dedication, you will be well on your way to shooting lower scores and beating all of your friends on a weekly basis. Golf is a game of inches, so you must always seek to find any advantage as possible.

Lyle and Scott Help You Play better?

Can Clothes Really Help You Play Better?

Lyle and Scott Golf have easily become one of my favorite brands when I play golf simply because of the unique colourways and sleek designs. I have been an avid golfer for quite some time and I have to admit that the clothes that a golfer wears will definitely help improve their game. Golf is all about confidence and when you feel confident, you will definitely start to play better. If you think the two factors are not correlated, then you are simply misinformed. It is amazing what good clothing can actually do for a golfer. When I started wearing Lyle and Scott as my main brand during my golf tournaments, I seriously started to feel and play better. Though you might think I am exaggerating, you too will agree that when you feel better around the golf course, you will definitely play better. There is simply something about the Lyle and Scott clothes that you simply can not miss out on.

Lyle and Scott Clothes

When I would stand out during my golf tournaments because of my clothing, I was also standing out because of my golf scores. Though you might be hesitant as to whether or not the clothes had anything to do with it, I will guarantee you that it definitely made me feel more confident. I used to wear brands that simply did not look nice, and I was always looking for a better more professional looking brand. Lyle and Scott has v-necks, shirts, and sweaters that have designs that you will not see with most golf brands. I highly recommend golfers of any age to check the brand out and to simply give them a chance. If you want to look better, feel better, and inevitably play better, you should definitely check out Lyle and Scott golf clothing.
