The Adidas Powerband 4.0 golf shoes provides enchanced leverage, stability and balance control.

The Powerband shoe has long be known for eliminating power leaks and allowing golfers to transfer all of their power through their swing. The Adidas Powerband 4.0 features the Powerband Chassis, that provides lateral stability for faster, more aggressive swings. The stability and durability of the shoe is improved thanks to Adidas' stretch resistant synthetic overlay.

Each Powerband 4.0 comes with Adidas Golf's FitFOAM insole. The low-profile insole features a TPU forefoot with THINTECH 8-spike configuration for improved traction, stability and ever-lasting cushioning. The upper of the shoe is full-grain leather with detailed synthetic overlays, and carries a ClimaProof 2 year waterproof warranty.

Distance in the Ping i20 driver is certainly generated by the aerodynamic, 460cc clubhead itself. But without doubt, this design will also bolster the golfers confidence and sense of power at address. The distinctive matt black, nonglare finish frees the player from distraction, allowing him or her to focus on launching dries father and straighter than ever.

These drivers will be available over the next month or two and look like being a solid addition to the Ping golf range which will also include a the Ping i20 irons

COBRA is excited to announce the new Cobra AMP Driver featuring E9 Face Technology with dual roll and AMPTM Speed Tuning, delivering customized distance and accuracy to golfers around the world. The AMP Driver also brings color and attitude to the golf course with black PVD and vibrant orange details on the shaft, club head and grip.

The AMP Driver also features Adjustable Flight Technology (AFT), providing golfers with the option to set the face angle as Open, Neutral or Closed to optimize ball flight for better distance and accuracy. The Aldila RIP® Speed Tuned shafts have a progressive weight design and El flex profiles that customize performance for various swing speeds. AMP Speed Tuning works in conjunction with the shaft to optimize each loft differently to deliver the best performance for a given club head speed. The AMP Driver is also available in an offset design to reduce the effects of a slice as well as provide improved distance and accuracy. COBRA’s E9 Face Technology with dual roll utilizes an elliptical shape face that gives the AMP Driver a 30% larger Sweet Zone, resulting in more distance, accuracy and forgiveness in shots hit from the low heel to high toe. COBRA tested golfers hitting more than 25,000 shots and discovered that the majority of golfers hit shots across the face in this canted, elliptical pattern. We redesigned our clubface to use this phenomenon to the golfers’ advantage. We’ve added a new canted bulge with dual roll to now provide added distance and accuracy to the shots hit above and below the centerline.

Cobra AMP Driver Specs, Pricing, and Availability

The COBRA AMP Driver is available in lofts of 8.5°, 9.5°,10.5° and 11.5° in
men’s right-handed, and 9.5° and 10.5° in men’s left-handed. The 8.5° loft is available
in X or S flex, the 9.5° and 10.5° in S or R Flex and the 11.5° in R or Lite Flex. All lofts
feature the Aldila RIP® Speed Tuned shaft.

The COBRA AMP Offset Driver  is available in a men’s right handed or left-
handed 10.5° in S or R flex and a men’s right handed 11.5° in a R or Lite flex. The AMP
Offset Driver features an Aldila RIP® Speed Tuned shaft.

The AMP Driver and AMP Offset Driver will be available in the United States on February
10th.

Will It Be RBZ?

New TaylorMade RBZ Driver

Majority of the golfers in the world right now have this state of mind that when they are able to hit their balls farther, they can easily play better and have better scores.  This is what most people believe in because the companies who make the golf clubs are advertising their products to be better in terms of distance and control almost every year.  One company that has released a new line of clubs every single year while claiming the improvement benefits of their golf clubs is TaylorMade Golf.  TaylorMade is the pioneer when it comes to the adjustable flight technology in golf with their R7 drivers and ever since, golf clubs have never been the same.  

On 2012, TaylorMade is rumored to be releasing a new driver that will again make balls go farther than ever with their TaylorMade RBZ Driver.  The RBZ stands for RocketBallz which is the possible new name for their new line of drivers and irons and maybe even golf balls too for 2012.  TaylorMade has always been an innovator with their golf clubs and they are aiming to have a complete line of clubs just for the sake of adding distance.  This could be what the RocketBallz line is for and this will be trouble for the other brands who's main weapon in attracting customers is distance.  A lot of people will surely be testing this product out once it will be released because something that is made by TaylorMade needs to be tested because of the quality that goes with the name of the product.

The RBZ set of TaylorMade is said to be made for the mid to high-handicap golfers who want more distance and forgiveness so that they can hit it farther and still keep their ball in play.  The golfers within this range are unable to hit it far enough to carry that certain ravine which will force them to lay up.  Hopefully with the RBZ, the significant increase in distance will allow these golfers to hit their ball past the trouble and hazards that they used to avoid.  There are two rumored driver designs for the TaylorMade RBZ driver and one of them has a deep face while the other driver has an elongated shape.  It is not clear yet as to how these shapes are designed to affect the club performance but one thing that is for sure is that both clubs will be easy to hit.  The clubs were designed with the designers thinking about all those players who are having a hard time finding the sweet spot in their drivers and this club will most likely fix the problem.

Irons are not really designed for distance but the new irons will give its owner both distance and control.  Control is the most important thing with irons because you have to keep it straight and the irons from this product is aimed to make every ball you hit go straight and for.  This will allow you to reach those long par 3's that you never got the chance to putt for birdie.
