New Footjoy Base Layer Coming Soon

New Footjoy Base Layer

Steve Stricker was one of the first PGA tour professionals to try the new Footjoy Base Layer clothing when he played in The Open at St Andrews last month. Stricker liked the new product and was especially please that the thin layers of the under garment complimented the thin layers of the shirt and waterproofs and this gave him great freedom in his golf swing.

The  new FootJoy ProDry Performance Base Layer, which will be available, completes the three tier layering system. The garment has a golf-compression fit, which conforms to the body to stimulate blood flow, warmth and reduce fatigue, whilst ensuring ultimate freedom of movement throughout the golf swing.
Richard Fryer, the European Marketing Manager FootJoy said, “Now, no matter what conditions you encounter on the golf course, you can comfortably and confidently adjust your layers for maximum performance.”

More than a 100 tour professional now trust Footjoy outerwear and they are now a reel force in the golf waterproof industry.

Arjan Atwell..... It was a True Story

Ping S56 Irons

It seems amazing that a player who has no standing on tour can play in the pre qualifier for a PGA tour event on the Monday with a brand new set of irons that he has never used in competition before and come Sunday evening this player would be the winner of the tour event and have a two year exemptions and get an invite to the US Masters however this fairy tale is true as Arjan Atwell did all of the above with brand new set of Ping S56 irons and a lot of guts and determination and it was a pleasure to watch.

The putt he holed on the 18th green which was a downhill treacherous downhill putt was worth much gold and gives this likeable golfer so many new opportunities in the later part of his career

Well done Arjan it was a joy to watch.

Why Choose a Ping K15

The New Ping K15 Driver

It seems that many golfers are in the belief that the new Ping K15 Driver is a replacement for the very popular Ping G15 driver however this is far from the case.

The Ping K15 is definitely for the player who struggles to square the clubface through impact and the straight flight technology really does work as I did a custom fitting yesterday and I was stunned by how well it helped a 19 handicap golfer square the clubface and hit the ball with less sidespin.

The full spec can be read below

Callaway X-24 Hot Irons

The Callaway X24 irons will not be available for sale on the web for another two months however they are available to order from us direct if you call our local number 01626 351681

These irons have a slightly duller look to them however they still have the usual qualities that you are used to seing with Callaway clubs. Often forgotten is the S2H2 and VFT technologies that are in many other Callaway clubs however these are superb technologies that really do work.

These clubs are for players looking for extra distance as these clubs are long and have a spring in the face that is as fast as any club on the market. They are available from 3 iron to SW however custom fit on this set is not an option.

New Callaway Advert

I thought you might like the latest Callaway Golf advert however I do not believe it will make it onto the TV

I know quite a few golfers like this guy!!!!!

Galvin Green Ardell Review

Galvin Green Ardell Review

At this time of the year Galvin Green release the Autumn and winter range and this year the garment that caught my eye was the Galvin Green  Ardell waterproof jacket.

It is a quarter zip pullover style jacket and has the usual goretex material that you will find in all of the Galvin green Waterproofs however the styling impressesed me as it was simple and stylish.

Like all of the range it is hard wearing and easy to wash and of course it has a lifetime guarantee.

It is available in three colours which are brilliant blue & black, gunmetal & white and black & chilli red.

The Galvin'>http://www.thegolfshoponline.co.uk/galvin-green/waterproofs/-ardell-waterproo...">Galvin Green Ardell will be around the £200 mark however these garment will last you twice as long as any other waterproof on the market.

Titleist 910D2 and D3 Drivers

Titleist 910 Driver

It appears like the latest driver from titleist has been adopted by many European and USPGA Tour players already and is likely to be as successful as the previous model.

The Titleist tour support vehicle has got to keep good stocks of these drivers as more and more players are playing this new driver. The driver has a black looking head which I always like as the contrast between the black of the clubhead and the white of the ball always aids alignment.

The full spec and shaft options have not been fully released yet however i expect it will be a premium driver and be priced slightly higher than the current model.

The likely release date in the UK would be in November/December time with availability on the web early 2011.

I’ve used the Titleist 909 driver for some while and I feel it has exceptional feel and good distance and I am looking forward to trying the new Titleist'>http://www.thegolfshoponline.co.uk/titleist/drivers">Titleist 910D2 Driver when it is released.
