Nick Watney - Barclays Winner

Nick Watney won the 2012 Barclays and moves into the top 10 in FedExCup points for the first time this season. He finished the 2011 FedExCup ranked No. 9 after starting the Playoffs ranked No. 1. Of Watney’s five victories, three have been in come-from-behind fashion. He entered the final round on Sunday trailing Sergio Garcia by two strokes. He overcame a five-shot deficit at the 2009 Farmers Insurance Open and a two-stroke deficit at the 2011 World Golf Championships-Cadillac Championship.

Watney also delivered another victory for the Titleist 913D3 driver as he averaged 299.3 yards off the tee. Watney used a Mitsubishi Diamana White Board 83X shaft in his driver (10.5°) and also carried a Titleist 910F (15°) with Mitsubishi Diamana Blue Board 93X shaft; (19°) with Fujikura Motore Speeder VC 8.2 shaft. He played Titleist 712 AP2 (3-PW) irons with True Temper Dynamic Gold X100 shafts and Vokey Design SM4 (54°, 60°) wedges with True Temper Dynamic Gold S400 shafts. He went with a Scotty Cameron for Titleist Newport prototype putter and his ball of choice was the Pro V1x. He wore FJ Sport golf shoes in his victory.
